The EP’s title track „Fall In Love With Music“ is a true ode to the thing we all love so much: Music. With its tricky arrangement and detail-rich production the track showcases that these guys are anything but rookies. On the remix tip we are proud to present none other than Uner who definitely is one of hottest names on the scene at the moment. After releases on labels like Diynamic and 2020 Vision he delivers a real stunner of a remix here! His version brings „Fall In Love With Music“ directly to peak time proceedings by adding straight upfront house beats, a superfunky bassline and an epic piano sample in the breakdown.

Original track number two, „Some Singers Sing“, sit’s a bit more more on subtle side of things slowly building a beautiful warm atmosphere of smooth chords combined with a unique vocal sample and well-crafted percussion. This one is remixed by Phonolulu’s buddy Martin Heyder who focusses on the warm chords of the original making for a great hypnotic deep house tune

In 2008 they started working in the studio under the production name IRTELLI & GUS with their first release reaching 42 in the beatport chart. With three original tracks full of depth and texture-rich structures on their upcoming Love Hertz release they’re just about to open another successfull chapter in their career. The title track from the EP „Point To Point“ boasts classic chords topped by a magic sitar hook in a clever arrangement and showcases what their sound is about: Repetitive and deep but never boring, soulful without drifting into clichés. „Fall“ is another top-drawer of this category, combining sweet melancholic organ stabs with a mysterious vocal for perfect measure. The third original track „Lost In Fabric“ features hypnotizing percussions and some slightly psychedelic vibes making for a really special tune.

The package is completed by two great re-intepretations of „Point To Point“ and „Fall“. The latter receives an awesome remix treatment by Juno 6 of Liebe Detail and Freude Am Tanzen fame who deliver one of their typical twisted masterpieces right here. The opener „Lachen Im Garten“ kicks off with funky organ sounds topped by crazy crowd noises, the classic „Are you done mixing yet?“-sample and a strange but funny children’s voice representing the housier side of this EP. The tracks also recieved a stunning remix treatment by Berlin’s Beaner who recently made some bigger waves with really dope output on District of Corruption and, of course, the legendary Bar 25 imprint. His interpretation is pure stripped down funky bliss for those who like their music with that certain freaky type of swagger.

The second original track on the EP, „Edward’s Erdbeertraum“, delves into techier territory with quirky lo-fi loops and some crazy ideas on the arrangement side of things while „Ich Steh Im Wald“ with it’s mad flute hook may be the most accessible tune of the EP. The latter comes along with two remixes by Look-Alike’s close friends from The Third Nerd project. Their „Asia Edit“ & „Lesson 2“ versions focus on the prominent hook while providing different takes on the rhythmical structure and overall feel of the track.

Remix number two comes from Love Hertz’ very own label honchos Autodeep (Galaktika Rec. / Night Drive Music) who rework the tune into a slightly slowed down groover with references to disco and classic detroit sound. Sven’s friend Andy Kleimann and Phonolulu (Boxer Rec.) finally round up this release with a heavy techno interpretation pefect for those who like their 4/4 a bit more upfront and peak time compatible!
